Band Director
Mr. Hauser is the Director of Bands at Anoka High School, a position he has held since 2014. Mr. Hauser is responsible for directing and coordinating all aspects of the band program, including the Concert Band, 9th grade band, and the Anoka Marching Tornadoes (AMT). Mr. Hauser completed his undergraduate work at the University of Minnesota with a Bachelors of Music in Music Education and Percussion Performance and received his Masters of Arts in Education from St. Mary's University of Minnesota.
Co-Marching Band Director
Mr. Rahkola has been working with Anoka High School since the fall of 2014. Mr. Rahkola teaches the marching band as assistant director and visual instructor, and is also director of Jazz II.
Mr. Rahkola obtained his Associates Degree in Music from Anoka-Ramsey Community College. Since then he has studied at Minnesota State University Moorhead and has earned his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from St. Cloud State University.
Mr. Rahkola has performed with the Minnesota Brass Drum and Bugle Corps for 6 years as a member of the tuba section, and as assistant drum major. He is currently on staff with Chops Drum and Bugle Corps as a visual instructor and has been working with them since 2017.
